Trinity 8 2025. Identifying False Prophets By Their Fruits

In this episode, we delve into the words of Jesus, urging us to beware of false prophets who appear as sheep but are, in fact, ravenous wolves. These deceptive figures are not only present in the world but can infiltrate the very community of believers. Our guidance comes from discernment, focusing on the fruits of these prophets rather than their appearances.

We journey through three significant orchards - Faith, Good Works, and Election - analyzing each to determine which fruits are true and which are rotten. Faith must rest in Christ crucified, not in itself or combined with works. Good works should flow from our justification through Christ, rather than being a means to it. Election is rooted in the saving grace of Christ, assuring us that it is not based on personal deeds or merits.
